The COVID-19 pandemic, and the resulting economic consequences of it, have disproportionately affected those who rent in Canada. As someone who was a renter when the first COVID lockdown took place, I became interested in looking into why renters were so vulnerable to the effects of the pandemic. Working in collaboration with the Toronto-based Federation of Metro Tenants' Associations (FTMA), I created the above infographic to break down the issue into an accessible, easy-to-understand format.
